Honestly, I do still eat some chicken and fish. I eat only organic though, as I did before I posted my previous message. But I will eat regularly raised chicken if that's all I have at the time. Having said that, organic free range chickens are raised naturally and humanely, i.e. they don't have steroids,
Antibiotics , and pesticides in them, and they run and graze, and do all the things nature intended for them to do. I am gradually moving to a vegetarian/vegan diet, and I think the videos were a catalyst to that goal b/c any of God's creatures that suffers as such I don't want to support that company who is doing that to them. In a morality sense, it doesn't seem right to make chickens live a tight little box, unable to spread their wings, and force feed them steroids and other poisons, and then brutally kill them when they get big enough. Those chickens were suffering and miserable(not to mention we ingest those adrenline poisons as well) all their lives. Animals feel pain just like we do. My new outlook on our food is that changes need to be made in our food industry of how we raise our food, and a major shift of my eating preferences are happening as I do not like the way our food is raised.
ps. I know the phrase "our food" is not acceptable on this vegetarian forum. But I mean "my food and others who eat chicken". However, I'd like to reiterate that I am moving to a vegetarian diet. Right now I am about 80% vegetarian(including raw), and 20% meat(only chicken and fish,no red meat)
Blessings,
:O)
