"Take a look at the vegan animals. How big they are. eat all day long."
This is a poor comparison.
We are not the same. We are evolved as hunter gatherers...for quite a while.

Exactly, our digestive system is nothing like that of cows and horses.
Nor are we trees and plants.
I heard bananas are a poor choice because they genetically manipulated. Vaccines
are put into bananas and most of the people in South America get their
vaccinations from
planting and eating these bananas.
There is nothing wrong with eating meat as long as it is organic. If you eat non organic meat, on the scale of things, you get the same effect as eating non organic vegetables and fruits.
Any diet that requires you to become a scientist and develop complex schedules and measuring techniques to ensure you get the VERY basic nutritional requirements for life is a poor diet and can hardly be called
"natural".
I have nothing against vegetarianism. Anything in excess tends to be a poor choice. You can eat predominantly raw foods and supplement your diet with good organic meat once or twice a week... to stay healthy... and really natural.
I know a lot of vegans become vegans out of compassionate reasons. This is different. If you are willing to sacrifice for some cause...that is fine by me. Vegans also tend to be bible thumpers, I have a few vegan friends. God in the bible says to eat meat... after the flood. And Jesus did not feed his followers with tofu or soy but fish. No, I am not making the case that you should eat meat because the bible says you should, only that If you're only reason for not eating any meat is some idea that it is wrong, against God, or unethical ... you may be wrong. What goes on in the large slaughter houses/ farm factories is wrong. Buy organic, free run locally produced meat instead. It is normal for us to eat meat. A lot of animals eat animals. It is normal and natural.
I think the real problem is that today people are so artificially brought up they totally lost touch with nature. They don't know how to grow anything, they don't know what it takes to raise an animal for food (most think meat comes from an Oscar Myer plastic bag). When people find out that is not the case, they concentrate on the large factory farms and are totally put off. When I was a kid and I first saw an animal slaughtered by some farmers I was horrified. The fact is I was just immature and wasn't ready to accept life for what it is. I don't mean mans rules but the higher laws of nature and survival. It is not our choice to human and have the biological needs that we do. Very few of these higher realities / rules of life are our choice. There are always people who would wish certain things would work another way. Of course those farmers loved that animal and raised it lovingly. It was hard for them also.
When a person first becomes aware of the cruelty of factory farming, I can see how they can be put off meat for life, especially sensitive compassionate people. Still, don't let that scar you into ignorance. I don't mean this as a flame. By ignorance I mean the absolute conviction to not consider or think about the issue with an open mind and brush aside
Science and common sense because on one side they feel animals should not be killed. I'm sure some of the extreme vegans would love to stop other animals like lions from eating other animals. I'm sure most aren't like that.
