Tom had EDTA chelation twice a week for 12 weeks before the doctor
visit that showed no blockage. After that he went to one per week
and is now taking one per month. Later he will go on a maintenance
program of one or two IV chelations twice a year or as needed.


EDTA chelation is given as an IV drip and is used to open blocked
arteries. It costs about $100 for each IV treatment which take 3 to
4 hours each. It usually takes 20 to 30 treatments to open clogged
arteries.


DMSA cheltion targets lead and mercury and is given in capsule form.
Some doctors recommend one capsule every 4 hours for a week, then
skip a week, and so on.

Dear Duncan,
What a great post to see again! I almost forgot what hell I went through. The person Duncan is talking about is me. I am Tom and still doing very well. But to continue the story a bit more, I am so disappointed in my cardiologist and family doctor who "still" won't accept the fact that Chelation saved my life. They both say it had to be the medicine they had me on that "finely" worked. "RIGHT"! LOL Could it be the cardiologists and pharmaceutical people don't want you to know how much good this treatment does? I say YES!!! They both said I was doing great and unless I had a problem they didn't need to see me for a year. (my yearly tests & physical) For 2 years before Chelation I took there pills and walked a mile a day on my treadmill and steadily got worse. Then they said I had 6 month's to a year at the most to live. As my wonderful wife said, we decided to take Chelation for myself and what terrific results I got. I am not the only one who has these stories!!! At my Chelation doctors office they have up to 15 Chelation patients in the morning and 15 more in the afternoon, 5 days a week and everyone I have talked to (YES EVERYONE) has the same wonderful stories I have. One man saved his leg that doctors wanted to amputate and Chelation got his arteries open and he is walking on that leg today. Ask Duncan what Chelation did for Janie...that's another wonderful story for a terrific person and I am proud to say Duncan & Janie are 2 of my best friends and for sure I owe my life to them for telling me about Cherlation. I have seen many people in this newsgroup call it folk remedy and put it down and I almost cancelled it because I couldn't believe that so many people were so closed mined about Chelation. All I ask is that you find a Chelation doctor in your home town and just ask if you can talk to the patients taking the treatment...LISTEN and learn from the ones who are taking it, I think you will be amazed at how many heart patients with bad arteries are being helped and not have to go through that totally evasive surgery that has a pain level way beyond you wildest dreams! If this post gets one person some help that he or she needs, I will be a happy man and would love to hear from you as well. Bye for now! Duncan & Janie...Donna and I love you both!

When I became mercury poisoned from my dental fillings (www.mercurypoisoned.com), an ACAM doctor (www.acam.org) at Mount Rogers Clinic in Troutdale, VA treated me. This clinic was started by Dr. Elmer Cranton, (dr.cranton.com) a well-known pioneer in the field of EDTA chelation. He wrote a well-known book called BYPASSING BYPASS SURGERY.

One time when I was at the clinic I met Pete who was taking his maintenance EDTA chelation. He told me what had happened to him a few years earlier. Pete lived in Princeton, West VA and had a heart attack. He was flown to a major cardiac hospital in Roanoke VA where he became a patient of cardiologist, Dr. England. Dr. England told him that he needed a triple bypass, but when he examined his veins in his legs, he found that his veins were not large enough to be used in his heart for the bypass. Dr. England sent him home with a few pills and very little hope.

Pete heard about the Mount Rogers Clinic and visited the clinic on a Friday to interview the doctor about EDTA chelation therapy. He started his treatments the next week and Pete said after 7 treatments he was able to get his breath again. He continued on and finished out his 30 treatments and then returned to Dr. England in Roanoke, VA and told him what he had done. Dr. England put him on a treadmill and he passed the treadmill stress test with flying colors. Dr. England told him to keep on doing what he was doing. However, I wonder if a new patient went to Dr. England if he would recommend chelation therapy for THIS patient? I doubt it seriously. He would probably loose his standing in the medical community and would probably not be allowed to practice with his group or have privileges at the hospital if he recommended chelation therapy.

Pete was beaming while he was taking EDTA chelation, "This stuff is the best thing since sliced bread!"

I also talked to another patient at Mount Rogers Clinic who was a Baptist minister in Bristol, VA. He had had one bypass at a Kingsport TN hospital and the second bypass by the best bypass surgeon in Washington, DC. He had had several angioplasties, 17 catherizations and 2 stents in his heart. He was at the clinic doing EDTA chelation because of a blockage starting around the stents. He was very bitter at the lack of information he received from mainstream medicine concerning the complications from having bypass and the fact that he was kept in the dark concerning EDTA chelation until AFTER he had had 2 bypass surgeries. And of course he did not learn about EDTA chelation from mainstream medicine. He told me that if he had to do it over again, he WOULD NOT HAVE DONE either bypass, but would only have done the EDTA chelation.
