Hiya Denise! Kudos to you and your fiance for doing this. You're certainly getting off to a great start with your lives together. :)
If this is your very first fast, then it's best to do things to mitigate the de-tox. This can include special sweat baths, trampoline jumping (lymphs), dry brushing (lymphs and nerve), taking P&B shakes (fiber and
Bentonite clay. The fiber helps push things out of your colon,
Bentonite helps take out metals and other toxins.), enemas/colemas/colonics, detox tea, and of course, drinking lots of water. All of these options can be learned about here on CureZone. :) Also be sure to take in a tsp of natural
Sea Salt a day.
You may need more minerals than usual to help break down the toxins that are being set free; therefore, a good veggie broth may be in order. That means taking potato peelings, onion, parsley, cilantro, carrots, garlic, and whatever other veggies you want to add, chopping them into a huge pot full of water, simmering on low for an hour, and drinking it all day. Really helps flood the system with potassium and natural salts etc. :)
You can also slow down the detox by taking in a little bit of grade B maple syrup with your juices. And try to do more veggie juices than fruit juices. Fruit juices can actually be quite weakening after awhile.
