The Reality of Hormones and Anti-aging Supplementation
by Cheryl Nelson
Woman and men can both suffer from age related hormone
decline. Our neurological functions are controlled by
hormones, which are chemical messengers that sychronize,
and tell our organs and cells how to function. As we age,
we will surely experience decreasing abilities in our
mental acuity, memory, eyesight, hearing and most likely
other bodily functions.
Since the age of 35, I have had my own hormone
difficiencies; heavy periods (sometimes twice a month),
irritability, hot flashes, and weight gain. Finally, at the
age of 42, I was introduced to the use of pregnenolone, a
naturual hormone supplement.
Researchers have been experimenting with the use of
pregnenolone on people since about 1940. At the time, a
synthetic hormone called cortisone, (coined a miracle cure
for
Rheumatoid Arthritis ) could be patented, and brought
income to the pharmaceutical industry. The natural hormone
pregnenolone was put on the back shelves, and in just the
last few years, has become more recognizable. Because it is
a derivative of cholesterol from foods we eat, and so far
has had no reported negative side effects. Pregnenolone
does not fall under the jurisdiction of the FDA, which is
why it can be available without a perscription.
Since I began to investigate the natural hormone
pregnenolone, I have been excited to find that it can
benefit, but may not cure, many ailments and diseases.
Researchers have found that pregnenolone has the ability to
promote myelin formation and repair. The deterioration of
the myelin sheath (the membrane protecting nerve tissue) is
the main result of Multiple Sclerosis. Because of the
neuroendocrin effects, this wonderful hormone may also show
beneficial results for, Lupus, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, Lou
Gerhigs, Epilepsy, menstral symptoms, impotence, fertility,
stress and fatigue, Psoriasis, Eczema, wrinkling, plus, the
cardiovascular and immune system. All around great sense
for good health.
I have been using pregnenolone for about 3 years now. It
regulates my period to only once a month. It also has
helped my breasts to be full and firm. I really enjoy this
product and highly recommend it. I am going to ask a couple
of my girlfriends, stricken with Multiple Sclerosis, to try
pregnenolone. My husband has the skin desease Rosacea, and
I have been having large dry spots on my knees, ankles and
elbows. Together we have began a daily regimen to apply the
cream to these areas and we will see what happens. I am
exited, and you could be too.
My daughter had her first child before the age of 18, after
a gynecological exam, she was diagnosed with pre-cancerous
cells, which can accure in women who have had sexual
intercouse at a young age. She recently had surgery to
remove the cells. According to a Dr. John Lee, 90 percent
of women who are diagnosed with pre-cancerous cells need
only supplement with a properly formulated natural
progesterone cream and other known dietary and lifestyle
modifications, and the pre-cancerous cells will diminish
with no need for surgery. If I would have known this at the
time, my daughter and I could have consulted with her
Doctor, and possibly avoided her discomfort.
Pregnenolone may be helpful in all of these specific areas,
PMS and menopausal symptoms,
Arthritis pain, joint and
muscle pains, promotes tissue repair and nerve
regeneration, fights stress and fatigue, improves memory,
and much, much, more. I know enough people that could
benefit from this wonderful, all natural product, and you
can bet, I am going to promote it, Big Time.
Pregnenolone should not be used regulary by people in their
20s and 30s unless they suffer from a hormone imbalance,
two or three times a week may be sufficient. Suggested use
of the pregnenolone creams are as such, apply one fourth to
one half teaspoon, two times daily for 21 continuous days.
(Never over use this hormone product, it is not just a
cream). Discontinue use for 7 days and repeat. Message
cream thoroughly into soft or desired tissue areas of the
body (wrists and stomach) until absorbed. Individual needs
vary. Noticable results accure after about 3 to 4 months of
use. I find it useful to have a calendar to keep track of
this procedure. If this applies to you, begin the product
on the eighth day from the start of your period. If you
start a period in the middle of the use, stop the product
and consider the period the first of 7 days off, then
continue on through your 21 days. This advice is strictly
from my own experience.
******Again, this newsletter is not intended to diagnose,
treat, cure, or prevent any disease. However, scientific
research has established a connection between nutrition and
many disease conditions.******
