Loiman,
Have you tried alternative therapies? Please check out the Hallelujah Diet. You may have to get back issues of some of the "Back To The Garden Newsletters." There are quite a few stories of couples who have been unable to conceive, but were able to do so after being on this diet for several months, many couples in late 30s and early 40s.
Also, have you researched Maca and glyconutrients?
I have not had IV. I am a 46-year-old woman who has lost all her pregnancies, the last one a full term stillbirth at age 43, with several miscarriages prior to this. We first went to the fertility MD when I had just turned 42 after a recent miscarriage. He told us that we would not be able to get pregnant because of my age and my husband's abysmal sperm status. We did not have the money for all the treatments he was recommending and that had no guarantee. We were able to get pregnant the very next month on our own, but we went at it like a bunch of banshees. But the rest is history, for which I hold the MDs partly responsible. My stupidity was in trusting them and not knowing more about nutrition. I am an RN and was using nutritional information I had learned from nursing school, from my mother who had been an RN turned high school
Science teacher, etc. In other words, my baby perished from my lack of knowledge.
The pregnancies conceived on the Hallelujah Diet are reported to have none of the major problems that so many women are having today - very little nausea, not as fatigued, easier and shorter labors, etc., etc. The babies are born without all that mucous. And the babies are supposed to have killer immune systems compared to previously born children in these families.
I only offer you this information as I have researched it from my losses.
I wish you and your husband every success in conceiving and bringing a child into this world, as children are a gift from God, Psalms 127, V3.
