I made homemade whey with raw milk by putting it in a glass jar and leaving it in my cupboard until it seperated (4 days). It has been hot here (80 - 90 degrees). It has a definite odor and smells rotten. I assumed this would happen when you leave milk out. Is it rotten or can I use this? Will my pickles, etc. have a funky smell?
