Dear Doctors,
i've a question about chemicals causing leukemia. My father died of AML. he was a petrol engineer and so he worked with certain chemicals. i want to know if any of these chemicals might have caused his illness because a friend to my family works now with the same chemicals and he's like a father to me that you may call him my God father and so i can't bear to lose him too. these chemicals are:
WATER INJECTION ANALYSIS
1- HCL
2- ammonium hydroxide

citric acid
4- thioglycolic acid
5- API agar ( Iron Sulfate)
6- Marine agar
7- tetra sodium salt
CRUDE OIL ANALYSIS
8- water saturated toluene
9- butane
10- methanol
11- demulsifier
CHEMICALS IN WATER INJECTION

Bentonite (silicate)
13- polymer (polyamine in water)
14- oxygen scavenger (ammonium bisulphite in water)
15- scale inhibitor (organic phosphonates and acrylic polymers)
16- biocide A (gluteraldehyde and alkylphenols in water)
17- biocide B (fatty amine salt in water)
18- catalyst (cobalt chloride solution)
19- corrosion inhibitor
20- chlorine (sodium hypochlorite)
21- nitrogen and methanol
