For all the individuals in one of the
Science (zapper?)
Debate Forums who were interested in following in the footsteps of Dr. Clark by making their own zapper but wanted to change the type or quality of the wires used (less expensive), HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO ASK HOW YOUR IDEA WOULD WORK OUT, FROM THE EXPERT HERSELF!
I heard that at the time Dr. Clark submitted her invention to one of the federal agencies, probably FDA, for testing and approval she was told that the name she gave it was in essence "overreaching." The people at the agency with their usual apathetic, don't know and don't care attitude, couldn't find what it did. Haha. So she renamed it "zapper."
In this regard, the federal agencies involved and pharmaceutical manufacturers remind me of old movies on the South where a heavy set Southern sheriff in a patrol car drives by a group of white guys beating a black guy on the side of the road and sees nothing. The zapper would have to bring down an octopus the size of Captain Nemo's famous Nautilus submarine before you could get them to agree that they saw the zapper do something. To paraphrase a motto on CureZone....don't ask men to see what they are paid not to see. They won't focus their energies on that task when they are being high paid to do something else. It's not in their interest.
The individual person has to look into it himself and experiment.
...I don't know why they couldn't/didn't have a convention in the midwest, maybe not enough resources........so, if anybody knows.......
