Hi, I just got my first zapper ever yesterday, a little one from Zapperplans.com - and I have just a couple of questions if anyone could help.
1. Instructions say to hold the electrodes in your hand(s). But does that mean place them in the palms of your hands? Or does it mean hold them like you're holding something? The reason I ask is because when I hold them as if to grip them, well they're so small that I can only really hold them with my fingers, certainly not my hand. That's why I wonder if it means I should be placing the electrodes in my hand rather than holding them with my fingers.
2. Does it matter which hand you hold which colour in? There's a red side and a black side. Does this matter? Can you switch them in the same zapping session?

It is recommended to alternate.

MoreThis is a reply to # 652,847Thanks for the response. So I guess it would be better if I went out and bought copper electrodes that still fit into these alligator clips but that are longer so I can wrap my entire hand around them?

No, this is true for the regualr ParaZapper which is 100 percent Clark in the 30 kHz mode, down to the actual resistors and capacitors.
Size also makes a difference for the ParaZapper PLUS which is also fixed resistance and follows Dr. Clark's original design, except the timing resistance and capacitance values have been changed to extend battery life.
It appears to be true for all zappers based on the 555 times but not for the CD4069 which appears to be power limited.
BTW, when do you expect to post those data sheets?

Oh! Sorry, I'll get onto it. I've had a really busy week, and somehow it slipped my mind completely! I'll still have to get them from Dad, but hold your horses if you can and I'll get them. Thanks for reminding me!

Great you are getting started!
The electrodes are the new finger rings/clips which you can put one on your fingers on each hand (I use my ring fingers). They work great for me, but you can get copper pipe and a hardware store and use that if you prefer.
The color doesn't matter as far as I can tell. The red does seem to act quicker though, so if you have something on your right side that needs special attention like a tooth ache or somthing, I would zap with the red on my right side, and also hold my right hand to my right cheek where it was hurting. This is all just my own observations, nothing from Dr. Clark here. :) A good page from Dr. Clark is here -http://drclark.net/info/zap_bau.htm for gettting started, just to make sure you keep at it etc.

I put the little copper electrode hooks around my ears, one over each lobe. Is that a safe area to put them? Sometimes it stings a bit if there is too much water, but I just assume that means it's working and doing its thing. Also, how far does the signal go in the body? Example, If I do one hand, does the signal reach the other hand, or opposit leg, etc? Or should I zap each arm etc, daily for better distribution?- Re: Question on using a zapperplans ... ParaZapper

As your brain is electrically operated and you are passing a signal straight through it, aren't you a bit concerned as to what might happen?
Generally, our instruction manual states that you should not zap the head above the area right below the cheek bones. There have been reported cases of vision problems developing when this is not followed. Also, never zap around the base of the skull.

Thanks for the info. I guess I thought it would be ok because of the weak signal(I just have a little zapperplans model). I'll stop putting them round my ear lobes. One thing I'd like to note though, is that I previously had a few red bumps around the base of my scalp (could have been fungal, i.e. ringworm, or an allergy to the detergent in shampoo.) WEll, in 2 days (4 10 min. sessions per day), the zapper has cleared it up! I hadn't been able to get rid of those little bumps in months and now they are gone in just 2 days...wow!- Re: Question on using a zapperplans ... freelastchance

I've never had any problems Zapping my head with the ZP, and actually it did have good effects on Acne etc. For safety/liability reasons, PZ wouldn't recommend it. I'm just a lay person, so I say go for it. :) (I don't do it often any more because it's not very conveniant, but no problems)
