Recipe for Jam that is acceptable for people with many
food allergies , or those on a candida diet.
Another quick kitchen trick: if you are sensitive to many fruits, and/or have candida and can't tolerate the
Sugar in fruit, but miss the tart-sweet treat of jam to spread on whatever-type-of-breadlike-substance you eat, try this:
Buy cranberries, plain ones. In the US, in many cities these are easily found in any grocery store during the months of November or December, as stores load up for Thanksgiving holiday, but then they disappear altogether for the rest of the year. The bags are usually in the product department.
Wash the cranberries in plain water, then simmer on your stove in a little water (not much) until you have jam consistency, then add stevia to taste. I've even made a raw version of this by not cooking, but instead throwing the berries into my blender with some water, blending then adding stevia.
