Footstool.
The verse of the Footstool is summarized, Chapter 2, verse 255- Holy Quran.
Ayat- ul- Korsi ( verse of the throne, footstool to be exact, ( not the throne which is bigger ) Translated as:
{In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Allah! There is no God but He,
the Living, the Self-subsisting, the Eternal.
No slumber can seize Him, nor sleep.
All things in heaven and earth are His.
Who could intercede in His presence without His permission?
He knows what appears in front of and behind His creatures.
Nor can they encompass any knowledge of Him except what He wills.
His throne extends over the Heavens and the Earth,
and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them,
for He is the Highest and Most Exalted.}
So we see here, that God does not eat, God does not sleep or even get tired. The term rested on the throne, does not in anyway possible imply, tiredness on God the Almighty- but in Islam this is that after the 6 days of creating the worlds- God established His Mighty Throne. Only God knows the details of this.
The footstool, is shown in this passage to overshadow the Universe and all that is in it, how much more bigger is the throne, and yet, more powerful, how much Greater is the Master of the Universe? We can plainly see the Power and Glory is beyond our feeble imaginations, our puny states of existence.
Conclusion:
God does not eat, Jesus ate
God does not sleep, Jesus slept
God does not die, Some people think he died
God does not get reborn God is Always and forever constant
God does not get saved from danger, Jesus was saved and brought to God
God does not resemble His creation in any way
God is not comparable to His creatures in any way
God does not do things that do not fit His Majesty such as being less God
God is Forever.
Jesus was not the Father, Jesus was not God. Worship is for God alone. Even though you may despise it.
Jesus called God "Alayho" in Aramaic. Do you really think Jesus spoke Hebrew? Or English, or Greek, or Latin? No he spoke Aramaic. As you know with language, one slight word taken out of context changes the meaning of the whole sentence.
Jesus bowed down in Submission on the ground, falling prostrate. {Matthew 26:39}
Jesus said, all of You who Submit your will to God, are my true Brothers and Sisters (Mark 3:31-35) We are all humanly brothers and sisters.
Jesus taught Salvation comes from Submitting our will to God and Faith:
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesies in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'" (Matthew 7:21-23)
Jesus taught that only God is All Knowing as Muslims do.
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in
heaven, nor the Son [Prophet], but only the Father [Creator]." (Mark 13:32)
"And behold! Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Me'?" He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, Thou I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden." {Holy Quran 5:116}
