How is everybody doing so far? I will be honest... I've had a few backslides - mainly late, late at night when I'm still awake 6 or 8 hours after dinner and I lose my mind in front of the pantry at 2 A.M. rice cakes and peanut butter, apples, granola. NOt cheesecake or cookies, but as far as the yeast is concerned, I guess it might as well be. MY cultured veggies turned out pretty good and I'm eating those with every meal, but I find myself getting really hungry - I guess the food combining makes everything digest so well and so quickly that I'm empty again 2 hours after I eat. I was doing really good for awhile - only snacking on vegetables and stuff, but lately I've started to lose my resolve. I'm not sure why. Anyway, has anyone found a solution to the craving for carbs? I thought the grains & redskins would do it, but particularly if you can't have a larger portion of it by itself, it just doesn't seem to satisfy that need. Oh well, suffering is a good teacher, I guess..... If you can call that suffering....THere are certainly people worse off than me..!
