I first went to a chirpractor over 25 years ago, not because of the neck pain I suffered from off and on for years, but because of numbness down my arm and into my left hand. As I was treated for the problems that I intentionally went in for, I noticed that my chronic bouts of strep throat (3 times in 2 months) and bronchitis (2-6 months at a time for years) also cleared up. I began using chiropractic as prevention any time I felt a cold, flu or congestion coming on. I attributed my enhanced immune system to the benefits of chiropractic care so much that I became a chiropractor. I was not sick for years (not even a cold) and can now treat multiple patients that have colds or flu with very close face to face contact multiple times per day without becoming sick myself. Many of my patients have been pleasantly surprised that chiropractic adjusting has helped with their allergies, breathing problems and sinus infections. I say to give chiropractic a fair try. You might even experience benefits that you did not expect. Also...my neck pain and arm numbness have been absent for years.
