I can see that the private moderator of that forum has hidden the post,
so that is good, but clearly you cannot post an url to it since you cannot see it now.
I went and looked at it, and agree it clearly was aimed at one person,
directly named that person, & made it seem as if it was specifically
towards that person.
It was a personal attack.
Amberlynn perhaps needs to reread the rules and see what makes a post
a personal attack, or a true generalization.
Had the wording been in a different context it might have stayed up.
(but that is to the discretion of the moderator there, which is not me btw *smile*)
At any rate it has now been taken care of.
I understand your frustration at seemingly no response from alerts.
The moderators get tons of alerts everyday,
and so does the webmaster.
We are moderators that are not paid, and often have personal work lives,
and other personal happen-stances, that can make it hard to keep up with the
alerts. (i Am a good example, having been very busy in personal life,
I now have well over 1000 alerts to sort thru.
This can be a tad overwhelming.
I hope this helps you understand why the post may have stayed up a bit.
The private moderator there might have been ill, or family needs,
or even away on a family short vacation.
If this was so,
It would have been hard to *catch up * rereading threads, etc.
So it was good that you posted here and the matter has been resolved.
Have a great holiday weekend
Thanks for bringing a clear cut nasty post to the attention
of thie forum.
Please continue to do so,
but also include the *url* the minute you see it
so that a moderator does not have to sort and read endless threads
trying to find a specific post. This can be a very time consuming process,
unless you attach the url (just open message, copy the webpage url at top of
the page (the http:// etc url ) and then copy it into your message when you
bring it here.)
Love to you & yours,
Ami Joi Benton
