I was thinking along the same lines as I clicked on this page. Although I was not as nice as you, I was thinking a playpen for those who act childish. Frankly, I have no problem with what is written in the Debate Forums . They should have more freedom of speech than the Support Forums . I have to admit I rarely go to the Debate Forums , I get tired of endless cut and paste articles and egocentric tirades. What really concerns me is when these things are posted in the Support Forums , especially those that address serious and chronic health problems.

When I first discovered Curezone I was sick. I could barely walk due to a spinal injury. This injury was slow to heal because my health was horrible. For years I had been following my MD's advice, swallowing every pill he prescribed, had a terrible diet and was going downhill very quickly. Although I came to Curezone as a result of searching for Liver Flushes that were easier than the one my Naturopath had me do, I felt like I had stumbled upon a precious treasure. Not only did I learn volumes from what was already here, I was encouraged to read, research and experiment with modalities that addressed my needs. My health still is not perfect and I have "backslidden" more times than I like to admit; but I still feel that Curezone has saved my life. Most of all it has made me know I am responsible for my own health. As I have learned, I have tried to share my knowledge and experiences in an effort to help others, just as others have helped me. I have not been perfect, especially when someone wants to do something I know is foolish or dangerous. I have made a few people mad. I now try to "sit on my typing fingers" and simply not answer questions that I know are potentially dangerous (mostly in the fasting forums). Still, I hope I have helped a few people along the way.

I really don't have any answers to how to solve this ever worsening problem at Curezone, but I hope it will soon return to the beacon of hope and information it once was. There are too many sick and hurting people who need a place like Curezone, I hope it will soon reclaim its mission of educating instead of medicating. Let the malcontents, the egoists, the angry and confrontational, and those who see a Conspiracy behind every comment find their own place to spread their venom.

Ya-know, I really do think this can work.

I think it would be a fabulous idea to have a free speech area; it could be a separate template ( password protected ) set up just for the debate/conspiracy forums. This way, if the hot heads start disrupting the Support Forums , we can partially ban their IP addy’s- putting them on probation from the Support Forums while still allowing them access to their debate/conspiracy “ free speech area”. We could have a description in the free speech area that explains the differences between the Support Forums and debate/conspiracy forums- including an explanation as to why they should not bring the conspiracy/debates into the support forums. I think a couple of Lapis’ posts (down the threads) would work great… The ones to 2stuff are perfect.

I agree
