Hope you're still around. I wonder if I can ask you for some suggestions or specifics with respect to healing yourself with reiki?

I did read your post about how you healed yourself of an ovarian (I think it was) cyst by using reiki on yourself for some time.

I am planning to do a workshop to receive my first reiki attunement in the next couple of months, however wondered if there is a way I could get started, or at least do some good in the meantime. I am having terrific hormonal imbalances in the last few months. I believe excess estrogen; awful pms, swolen and tender breasts and emotional extremes. I have been using natural progesterone and also lots of bowel cleansing which have helped a bit, but I believe there is some work that needs to be done energetically and emotionally as well. I am quite desperate at the moment to see some change.

I wonder, do you have a sense that reiki will effectively work on the endocrine system and hormones? I am guessing yes, because of your experience.

Is there anything you could suggest I do at present (before the workshop) that might help?

I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions you might have.
