I started taking Mangosteen Juice 10 months ago for chronic I.B.S, & it has changed my life in that regard. I am also prone to Migraine headaches, but to be honest rarely to the nausea stage. Never the less when one hits you while you are driving it can be quite disruptive. I have found that while taking Mangosteen Juice on a regular basis(1 oz night & morning) the Migraines are far less, & if I take a belt of mangosteen juice as soon as my vision starts to go weird, I can stop it dead in 15 minutes. Blank central vision then a wavy silver "C" would pass from right to left & finally disappear out of vision leaving the onslaught of a nasty headache.Now with the Mangosteen J. the "C" reverses almost as soon as I drink the juice, & dissipates within minutes. Hi Laura, Arent Migraines the Pits? The first time I got one I was emptying postal boxes for Australia Post ,& couldnt see to drive the van. I thought "this is it ,I have got a brain tumor"!!
The nausea & weakness too was a killer.
Xango`s anti-inflammatory properties certainly work for me. Other people who normally suffer really bad Migraines for days on end who now take Xango report far less bouts & nowhere near the pain. Apparently Xango may also assist with M.S, Alzeimers & Parkinsons, because they all involve inflammation of the brain.
