I wish I'd figured this out before I ordered the maple syrup. I only bought 8 oz. of it not even thinking it would take a lot more than that on a 10 day master cleanse fast. I figure it will take 60 lemons and 1/2 gallon of maple syrup. That is 2 quarts of lemonade a day= 8, 8 oz. glasses per day. Am I right that I need 1/2 gal. of m. syrup and 60 lemons? I'm so terrible at math.
What is the shortest time you can do the lemonade cleanse? I also want to finish it with the liver flush..the lemons, Epsom Salts and grapefruit juice and olive oil.

i think that you are right on with the 60 lemons; but I'm not real sure about the maple syrup. My boyfriend and I are both doing this and I think we've already gone through a small bottle (we didn't think before we bought it either!). I think the recipe should be written for the 10 days and full amounts of what is needed. I hope The Master Cleanse cleans out my foggy brain too!

that should help some. If my brain wasn't dead, I could proably sit here and figure it out, but it would take me quite a bit, and that's only for a possible answer!
I didn't order online. I bought one bottle from a co-op store and I bought another bottle from a grocery store. It was in with all the other syrups and stuff (honey, etc). They should have it at the "nicer" grocery stores, definitely, if not all grocery stores.Advertisement

This is a reply to # 598,829Even though I dislike going to any link that takes me to about.com (all those popups and slow to load) I'll bite and take a look.
I bought a bottle of grade A maple syrup from the store, thinking that it was the right thing (I didn't look at the grade at that time) because it was pure maple syrup and not the kind with Sugar in it. How dumb..so I saw my mistake and ordered the right kind, just not enough.
I might use it though, it will get me to the week-end when I can buy some of the grade B syrup.
