Fresh lemons vs bottled lemon juice ...

Hello all, I am new here and new to the Master-Cleanse (ordered the book and waiting for delivery). I have a question I can't find in the archives. I know the recipe calls for fresh-squeezed lemon juice, but does anyone use the bottled juice with decent results? What are the advantages of fresh-squeezed lemon juice over the bottled lemon juice? Using the bottled seems so easy if the juice is the same... Thanks - I have learned so much from reading everyone's messages and am planning to start my own Master-Cleanse adventure!

I have used organic lemon juice not from concentrate it says on the bottle. I have used it all three times I have done the Master-Cleanse and get the same results. I wouldn't however use the normal grocery store kind as it has stuff in it that we don't need in the cleanse and is not in the purest form.
I just mix it in my bottle, carry my cayenne pepper with me and I am off and running. :)

This is a reply to # 598,729Yikes! No bottled, canned or frozen juice on the MC.
For those using anything dead -- you may still be on a cleanse but it's not the Master-Cleanse and your missing out on the alkaline the LIVE lemon juice becomes in your system. your also missing out on alot of the lossening, cleansing properties and important building factors. Oh, try and get ORGANIC lemons to avoid the bright dyes some grocers use, not to mention the pesticides sprayed on citrus.
livebetterserveJesus is right on here....commercial juices are dead and anything that is even not from concentrate or pasturized or has been squeezed more than a day before consuming isn't the best for you.
If needing to take the juice to work, etc... is the issue. Squeeze the lemons is the AM then add to the water right before you drink it at work...
This is a mainstay and intergral part of the cleanse..if your going to do the cleanse, might as well do it right. Everything is spelled out so simply on the Master-Cleanse - for a reason. It is what is best for YOU!

Just to inform you...
Any bottled juice on a shelf (not refrigerated) is dead (it is basically just a flavoring). It has been pasturized (heated), so anything beneficial for the Master-Cleanse has been killed.
The reason for juicing fresh lemons is the live enzymes...that is what will clean your cells.
If you find fresh-squeezed, refrigerated juice, make sure it was squeezed that day and use it up within a day.
If you don't stick to the basic recipe for the MC, you won't get good results...so why bother.
Your body deserves the best, so don't take shortcuts.

This is a reply to # 598,725Those enzymes can be found in higher content in other fruits and vegetables, especially pineapple. Although the bottled lemon juice isn't effective in aiding digestion; any fruit and vegetable will. Additionally lemon juice in a bottle is still beneficial for your skin, hair and nails so dont just write it off.
