I just came back with higher power for my left eye, -15.0. The receptionist told me she had seen as high as -19.0 in patient. My question is what is the maximum power recorded for short sightness? My doctor said theory it can be -30. I don't know if it is true or not, and his personality makes me hard to ask really. Thanks.
Apparently a young persons eye is around 40.
It is considered strong Rx at around 6.
So it go without saying anything over 25 and the eye isn't really doing much - much more akin to looking thru a telescope or eyeloup at that point.
