HI Old Pilot,
You asked, "Have you done many flushes, and have they pretty much kept you out of pain?"
No, I really haven't done many flushes. I first learned of these flushes several years ago thru a friend of a friend. I called the man who gave me a recipe and some advice and I didn't hear from him again. As far as I knew there were only very people who were using this method. It was very scary to me since I felt alone in doing it. His recipe called for 16
oz. of olive oil. This was very hard to get down. Made me very nauseated. But I kept it in and the next day, got rid of hundreds of stones. However, it was so gross I didn't want to do it again so I left it alone for years. Not only that, but it did not call for the use of
Epsom Salts so my bile ducts were not dilated when stones came rolling out. As a result, some became momentarily stuck, which was very frightening. Naturally, I was afraid to do that again.
Then my gallbladder started giving me trouble again last year. I knew I needed to do another flush but didn't want to use that old recipe. I found Dr. Clark's book,
The Cure For All Diseases , and her recipe sounded much better than the one before. So I used hers twice in a month and it seemed that nothing happened, no stones came out. But somehow I felt better so again I forgot about it. I just don't like drinking Olive oil so I didn't want to repeat it again.
Then this summer (just a few weeks ago) I had the worst gallbladder attack that I have ever had. I never felt so congested in all my life. I decided to see what I could find out about it on the net and I found Cure Zone. I have learned that this is going to keep coming back and keep bothering me unless I continue to do flushes until my liver is free of stones. Then I can do it twice a year for maintenance.
The second part of your question was: "have they (flushes) pretty much kept you out of pain?" At this point, I would have to say they have reduced my pain but not kept me out of it. The only way I will no longer have pain is when I no longer have stones in my gallbladder. Sometimes stones will migrate into the bile ducts (without any drinking of olive oil) causing spasms in the ducts in order to move the stone along. This is very painful and (to my understanding) is what is known as a gallbladder attack. The gallbladder itself may also spasm at a time when a stone is stuck in the bile duct, also causing great pain.
I have learned from the great folks here that as soon as I start to feel this pain, I should then take some
Epsom Salts in a little water and this will dilate the bile duct and allow the stone to pass thru with less pain or it can even cause the pain to subside completely. And now with your post about apple cider vinegar, I know another way to help push a stuck stone down the duct.
So to finally get to the point where I have no more pain, I will have to continue to do flushes, every two weeks or every month, until I see no more stones, then flush twice a year. Also, I will need to change my diet, so that I can prevent stones from being formed in the first place. Right now, I am reading
Andreas Moritz book, The Amazing Liver Cleanse to find out what foods I need to eat or avoid in order to not make gallstones. I will probably cheat sometimes, since I could never get my husband to become a vegetarian and we do need to live balanced lives anyway. No one can eat perfectly all the time, especially in this day and age when it's hard to find really healthy foods in stores and restaurants.
Hope that answers your question.
Your friend,
Beth
