Wild rice is a grass seed, but does it have the same effect on the digestive system? Can I eat it within the limitations of the No Grain Diet?

Yes, I think it also counts as a grain, although technically it isn't. Same goes for buckwheat, and, I believe, quinoa.

If it's made from grains, then I don't think it would be... Mercola specifically advises against eating processed grains, like bread, pasta, etc.

I believe it is made from sprouted grain, so technically, a small plant, thus a vegetable.
