All diets result in lots of water weight loss the first few weeks, but you will burn fat too. Eliminating almost all carbs during induction period may cause even more water loss because carby foods hold a lot of water in your digestive track.

Just drink a lot of water and take a water soluable fiber like psyllium (constipation can also be a problem during Atkins induction) and you'll be fine.
