Hi, don't give up. Last year I had frozen shoulder. I couldn't even put my arm back to dress myself or turn my arm to drive. Unfortunately it did carry on for months. First on the left, and before that side got better, the right side also started to freeze up. I tried stretching exercises, acupuncture, tylenol
Arthritis and celebrex prescribed by my doctor. The celebrex did alleviate some of the pain, but did a number on my stomach, so I had to give it up soon after. My Family doctor did not know the extent of my pain. He checked me for various things, but tests all came back okay. I also developed muscle atrophy in the shoulder area. In August (8 months later, I went to a rheumatologist who put me on prednisone, and tapered me down to a small amount over the course of 3 months, and I will soon be tapering off completely. The tied up feeling left me within a couple of days. There was something about FS that made me feel like I was tied up in my shoulder with extreme pain. The prednisone did something to release this and free me that I was able to use my arms again. Well, like I said I will soon be going off the prednisone, so I hope it doesn't return. Some with FS heal more quickly than others. I wish I had a quick success story and encourage you more, but I can tell you it will get better, so hang in there.
