Glad to hear you're beginning a yoga practice. Yoga nidra is relaxation. This can be done on your own or guided by a teacher, or I suppose a cd. If you google yoga nidra you'll find how to visualize working through the body on your own. It's quite simple. Best not to use music and to work through the sounds of your own breath and heartbeat.
I'm not sure what you're asking, or what opinion you seek.
