I cannot believe this new ruling. It is absolutely ridiculous. They say they will not ban anything unless they can prove it is harmful?! WHAT A JOKE! All prescription drugs if taken in the wrong doses are extremely harmful. So why not ban those aswell?
To rely on vitamins and minerals obtained from 'frsh' fruit and vegetables is ludicrous too as the nutritional content in such produce has been declining since the 40's. Mainly of course due to the fact of supply and demand. Grow bigger, grow quicker...to be able to do this and keep up with supply to the supermarket giants they use toxic chemicals for soil 'enhancement' aswell as spray everything to prevent disease/bugs. So in this process, without allowing a plant to naturally grow it diminishes the wonderful properties this produce SHOULD have...and of course dishing us on our plate a handful of toxins with every meal - thanks government, are you trying to get record high cancer stats with every passing year or what?!
The only way to obtain minerals and vitamins from produce is to grow it ourselves and /or buy organic. We then control and support a healthy environment the food we INGEST is grown.
I am sickened about this new law. The government are obviously in the pockets of the pharmaceutical companies.
I personally would rather use herbs and plants that have been used for healing for thousands of years than take any prescription from a doctor with thousands of side effects.
We SHOULD have the CHOICE which avenue we as INDIVIDUALS prefer to take when it comes to caring for our health. I certainly donot trust a load of numbnuts in suits manipulated by the powers that be to make the right decision....i think this calls for a RIOT!
How much more control over our lives do the goverments of this world want? It's power-hungry savagery at work...abusing those powers they have been voted in to use wisely...i am so disgusted that there are people out there that still believe we have governments that act as decision makers for the benefit of them and their country.
Each year our personal rights are being taken away from us...and the very sad aspect of that is that we cannot do anything about it - except to protest in very large numbers in London, bringing it to a standstill. I wish more people felt passionate about TRYING to regain their libities.
