I had severe migraines, uncontrolled by medicines, with severe vomiting. I had one a week, meaning that the migraine lasted two to three days, vomiting one day, a day or two before able to eat. Severe pain. Also chronic sinus congestion and sinusitis. After years of chronic sinus congestion (every day) and migraines- I eliminated all gluten, gliadin (which is in a wider range of glutens and in soy) and dairy, and as many refined foods as possible. I eat only whole foods or foods with two ingredients. Within one month, my sinus and migraines began to improve. In four months, I have had only two migraines, and almost no sinus congestion. 90% resolved. I do have meds in case of a severe attack, but my quality of life has improved dramatically. What is amazing is that in all this time, not one physician suggested what I finally found through my own research into alternative medicine. Perhaps this could work for others! Try it for a month and see if you feel better. If you do, you might go two months with only whole foods and no gluten, gliadin, or dairy, and then add back gluten, gliadin, and dairy for one week. See if you become congested again. If you do, go back to removing these items from your diet. Recently, I have found out I may be sensitive to
sulfites . A preservative. Removing the refined foods was a huge part of this recovery from chronic sinusitis and migraines. Before that I needed a humidifier on 80% all the time to breathe, tried medications for allergies and migraines and infections (which did not clear up), etc etc. So this really worked for me! I still have severe MCS, which I hope to resolve.
