Hi Ron-
Thanks for your response. I actually have "Functional Hypoadrenia" aka adrenal fatigue. So, the problem was not bacterial borne. I've had dermatitis since 8 mos old and asthma since 13 mos old. Other long-term symptoms are chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, panic attacks all of which worsened with age. There were high stress circumstances that pushed me over the edge as well as long-term prescription steroid use. Stress level is moderate now. I don't have much of a life other than working and sleeping. Not exaggerating. Need to work just to pay for the supplements and health care. Emotional stress is very low now (by choice) except for dealing with health issues and loss of quality of life related to it. I did a low glycemic diet all last year with no results at all. I went completely off of it and ate whatever I wanted for 3 months with no change. Now I'm somewhere in between. Problem is I am allergic to most fresh fruits and vegetables.
juicing was a terrible experience for me because of this. I used to eat all organic and no improvement. Can't afford to do all this stuff anymore. I've tried chiropractics, kinesiology, herbalism, homeopathic supplements, vegetarianism, no grains, allergy elimination treatments (over 1,000 treatments) through BioSet®, therapeutic massage, exercise (can't exercise at all anymore), glyconutrients, psychological counseling, juicing, fasting,
colonics and that's all I can think of right now. I have tried no allopathic treatments yet for this stuff mostly because I am afraid of the drugs after spending 30 years on meds and watching my body fall apart. Asthma is under control with Advair only finally and dermatitis and skin has been good enough since emotional issues were resolved. Looks like the long term damage is internally. I don't absorb nutrients and my nutrionist doesn't know why. Doesn't matter if I eat raw/whole foods or fast food. I always feel the same. My blood work shows malnutrition even though I keep gaining weight. My body thinks it's starving so it takes all food intake and converts to fat. The only other meds I take are for
Depression and brain function. My neurotransmitters are screwed up as are most of my hormones. I believe this is caused by the deficiency in the adrenal causing a chain reaction. Thyroid is low. Not sure if that's from adrenal connection or just on it's own. Most hormones show up low but not abnormal. Amino acids are low to non-existent. I can't exercise anymore because it literally knocks me out. 6 years ago I was at the gym three times a week lifting light weights and doing lots of cardio. Now I can't even think about doing anything without yawning! Blah blah blah. And so it goes. I do take AO, Plus, Glycentials and Phyto still along with lots of supplements for my gut. All prescribed by my nutrionist who also got me on the glyco stuff.
My husband is 33 and got
RA as a result of undetected Lyme Disease. He's had it for 7 years.
RA manifested within months of the tick bite. Not sure if you Lyme Disease in NZ or not. It's a tick-borne disease that causes neurological and/or joint problems. They only treat it with tons of
Antibiotics . Lyme Disease is technically gone but mutated spyrochetes in the synovial fluid keep the
RA in a bad state from what I understand. He takes Enbrel shots and a few other drugs for the joint inflammation. He goes to physical therapy 3 times a week and he stretches and works the joints three times a day! He's very dedicated. He used to be an athlete and now can't even lift light weights or jog. He elimated grains, dairy, citrus, sugar, etc for 4 months to see if it was aggravated by allergy but no change at all. A*****ose made him SOOOO bad for 6 months. On 8 tsps he could barely walk for several weeks. Down to 2 tsps a day was still killing him. He had to stop so he could work. It was a terrible experience for him. Most RA cases say pain gets severe for a few days to a week at most before starting to get better. He saw NO positive results.
Thanks for your input. Anything is a help.
Best regards...
