My husband had a cardiac ablation just last week. His heart went back in rhythm, but two days later, went right back out again. We are very downhearted, but we are told that is not uncommon for the heart to go in and out of rhythm during the healing process. It is important to note that the longer you stay in arrythmia, the lower the success rate of the heart permanently returning to normal. Good luck and it sounds like you are a better candidate for this procedure. WE were told the biggest risk was burning a hole into the esophagus! Yeesh. But our electrophysiologist was very good, and there were no complications...I just wish it had worked. It costs about $70,000 before insurance so I hope you have insurance.
God bless you and I wish you goodness.....
