It's obvious that the number of persons with SARS has increased because this is a natural reaction from the spread of the disease. But does anyone know why the death rate has increased from 3% to 6%?

This is a reply to # 564,886Because doctors have become better at diagnosing true SARS. The initial cases included a higher % of those with bronchitis or colds. Now that misdiagnosis has been reduced.
