I have never been able to wear a watch for more than a day since my NDE. I can't say they failed but they burn my skin so badly that I can't stand to wear them.

As far as erathquakes go, I have only been in one in Mexico and I sprained my ankle running out of a building. I can't say I knew an eartquake was coming but I did have a panicky feelings for three days before it. I wanted to get out of Mexico. I made plans. I couldn't breathe at night and I had to buy a little fan to cool my skin down. It was kind of like a fever I guess but I certainly didn't know an earthquake was coming. I thought someone was plotting something against me and I was a little paranoid. I never made the connection between the two.

I sometimes have dreams of floods and water but so far those dreams either manifest at some distant future time and not the next day for example or those dreams were symbolic.

I believe the physical body is meant to serve as an insulator and those of the NDE, having breeched the walls, may find it difficult to return/remain completely "inside" their corporal form. Personally, I sensed a "hovering" (accompanied with an expansiveness) that resulted in a hyper-emphathetic/energetic response which can be disconcertingly painful at times.
There are meditative techniques which, rather than promote leaving one's body, help anchor one's awareness in the center of their head. From this vantage point, a grounding cord may then be extended to the center of the planet and situational energy (ours or others) may be consciously released.
I wouldn't be surprised to learn the reason some returnees have their watch's stop relates to an altered physio-electromagnetic grid/positioning (seat of consciousness) upon one's return from a NDE. Included in this nifty little package may oftentimes be found a spontaneous release/opening of one's Kundalini and the energetics, even more amped up, can leave one with a sense of overload. Personally, I call this element of overwhelm, "Post Traumatic Death Disorder" and would reference it as the downside of a NDE.
On the surface, it sounds sorta nifty, but it can hurt and, if ya ask me, ain't much fun.
