His Dark-Eyed Beauty


He loved a dark-eyed beauty most of his life;
That's why he never could look for himself a wife;
They grew up together many of their school years;
But so much happened af great pain and many tears;
Hand in hand we'd seen them enjoying a walk in the sun;
But a future awaited no one thought would happen to anyone.
Death came to one home to claim one of the clan;
It was so shocking that day, impossible to understand;
One day things seem so good; they thought it was okay;
But everything can change in just one day.
The couple were divided, as different paths they did go;
The full reasons at that time, none of us could know.
Many years passed, much water under the bridge did flow,
As two different paths they each could not help to go.
But one day God said, "Now is the right time".
God was working His plan which is always so sublime.
Once again he became re-acquainted with the love of his life,
And it was only a little while until they became husband and wife.
