My cortisol levels were normal when they checked a few years back. I was really REALLY anxious then. Not so frighteningly anxious now more of a low grade persistent grinding anxiety that has pervaded everything, sapping my will and colour from life.
Would be quicker to list the supplements I don't take!! Actually that's not true, I limite myself these days to a good multi-vit, B-Complex, Magnesium injections, B12 injections and Omega oils...and lets not forget the probiotics...oh, dear looks quite a lot when you write it down!! (magnesium is excellent for panic attacks - do a google on it!)
I also use coconut oil instead of butter, simply because I now prefer it. A little apple cider vinegar for digestion. I try to avoid wheat but I have a weakness for bread. Goats milk instead of cow's.
I try to limit my alcohol intake, smoking is a weakness which I'm fighting!!
Some of the above are meant to help with candida, trying to formulate a plan of attack. tried one
Liver Flush which was interesting and quite effective. Was planning another when I got knocked of my motorcycle and broke my leg.
