When I protest against the US policy of corporate Imperialism, endless war and genocide, the knuckle draggers call me unpatriotic, un-American (and have even been accused of treason). Thus I am an America-hater. I been admonished to 'love it or leave it'.
When I have protested and criticized Bush and this criminal regime for their war crimes, I am a tagged as a Bush hater.
When I protest against the Nazi-like policies of Israel stripping Palestinians of their land and their lives, destroying their homes and turning what little land not yet stolen into a gigantic concentration camp... I am anti-Semitic. Even though I stand arm in arm with many Jews who feel just as horrified and full of revulsion as I do over this injustice, I am a Jew-hater. (of course, even Jews who criticize Israeli policies are called Jew-haters... go figure).
I abhor terrorist murderers and it doesn't matter to me if whether they are Islamic or American in origin.
So, when one stands up against atrocities, one is hateful?
Kaminski really put it in perspective when he said the majority of American people are:
"mealymouthed chickenshit perverted immoral sadistic sociopaths. And many of them carry holy books and insist these atrocities are justified."
I deeply hope the majority of Americans are better than this, but I have my doubts. However I am ashamed to be an American when my country wantonly bullies people from other races, colors, creeds and religions for the sake of socio-political control and steals their wealth, their futures and finally their lives and then covers the atrocities with jingoistic nationalism and lies'.
At any rate, the following story set me off.....
