I totally agree with your concern. I called
Dr. Schulze 's helpdesk about this back in August 2004 and asked if he tests for metals in all the herbs and foods he uses.
The helpdesk guy said others have asked the same question and when they ask
Dr. Schulze he just laughed. He said, they fill their bodies up with Big Macs and toxins and now they're worried about toxins in spinach and herbs! And I can identify with that!
I think the metals in any of our foods are a big issue. The one's that are supposed to be the worst are the grasses...
barley, wheat etc.
I only buy Nutrex spirulina and yaeyama chlorella because they are cultivated in very clean ways. Schulze buys the same for his SuperFood (which I also take daily). Are they free of all toxins? I'm sure they are not. But either is our organic food. The high metals are in the soil.
We live in a toxic world and that's all the more motivation to cleanse and help our body handle the toxins.
