Check garage sales, put up signs etc. These are like gym equipment and you often find them being "given" away.

I totally love my Omega 8003/8005 (only difference is the color).
Price is about $250.00 although I got mine for 197.00 including shipping from ACME. If you can't afford these, take a look at the little Braun juicer. It is about $80.00. Think it's only sold at Amazon. The motor won't last for years (Omega has 10 year guarantee, and Champion's never wear out...they bury them with their owners! ) but it's an inexpensive way to start juicing.

One thing to notice on EBAY or whereever is you'll find lots of Champions for resale. You almost never find a used Omega for resale.

I'm just like you. I had to have something that's easy to clean. Also, I have to have something that's quiet. First thing in the morning when I juice my lemon and lime, I don't want to hear loud mechanical abrasive sounds. That would be enough to stop my daily juicing.

Also, because this is masticating and low rpm, the pulp is all separated out and there is almost no froth. There is very little contact with metal, so I only clean mine once a day. I use it 2-3 times a day and just run a couple cups of water thru it after each use.

I have had 6 juicers and finally got an auger juicer. I would never go back to anything else unless I was juicing for a lot of people. Any auger juicer is very easy and fast to clean.
