Dear friends:
The rest of the day was rather anticlimactic. I had to fight my way through the next glass of carrot juice with SF. Wanna know how? I imagined I was in labor and I had my midwives with me. Just like in labor, I had to remain in the present. "Don't think about the past, Donna, it's over. That swallow is gone. Good job! Take it one swallow at a time. Don't worry about the future. Stay in the present. You're doing great."
You wouldn't think a glass of fresh vegetable juice would be such a problem, but it was today. I can laugh now. It's silly.
I made a delicious way to get the ICF #2 in: throw a banana in the blender with 1/4 cantaloupe, add the 8
oz distilled water and the spoon of ICF#2 and whirl around. The ICF#2 has a peppermint taste that's not bad. If the cantaloupe is ripe enough you can taste its flavor. Try it and see.
Also, Dr. S should change the name of the potassium broth. It's really good! It's been the highlight of my cleanse so far. I drink it for dinner(s) and add cayenne to it. I'm up to 1/4 tsp per cup of broth. My 21 year old says I'm going to be breathing fire by the end of this program- look out!
Another treat at the end of the day is a piece of fresh fruit taken with the ICF#1. Sort of a reward for a good day's work. I ate the sweetest peach last night- the first solid I had consumed. Tonight I said "to heck with liquids for the entire 30 days- I had a rough day on this, I passed up ice cream twice and french bread many times, I was up from 4:15AM to after midnight last night and still hit the shower at 6AM this morning, I've gone from being a red meat eating, doughnut in coffee binging, Oreo sneaking chocoholic to a total juicer in seven days... I'm going to have cantaloupe with my 3 #1's!" It was sooooo good!
See you tomorrow- sweet dreams!
