Dear ones:
I'm writing this the morning of Day 3 as we had a houseful of company last night for Father's Day. Hope yours was wonderful.
I only had a few thoughts about the IP yesterday. My primary thought was "How bad do you want to get well?" My answer to myself was a mental warrior's yell, only about 10 octaves higher than a man's. LOL
My other thought was, don't cut yourself off from life during this program. I got up a 4:15AM to see my 13 year old son off to camp, I went with my family to church, and had nursery duty. I straightened the house for company. I cooked dinner for eight (I always cook dinner for 8 LOL). My daughter's fiance came for dinner. I stayed up visiting with my college aged children & the fiance past midnight.
I have lost 5
pounds in 2 days. Elimination was a little more regular and definitely more content evacuated. I had an energy surge in the morning and took full advantage of it. Dears, this is without caffeine! I had lower back pressure for most of the day, but I ignored it. I also had intestinal cramps about 3PM that got my attention, but I knew what was up with that. That subsided by 5 PM.
Oh! a tip- stick a plastic grocery bag over the end of your juicer when you juice your carrots- slip the handles over the receiving neck where you put the vegetables in and stretch the bag over the part that the pulp comes out. It makes cleanup go a lot faster. Stick the carrot pulp in the compost or you can make carrot muffins for the children- yummy!
I'll try to send a log about day 3 tonight- off to drink more tea!
Bask in love and light,
