No, I am sorry to say that I have not found one. I e-mailed
David Simmons at enzymes@mail.com, since Ana - kittywinters posted some of his info on the FYI forum. It seems that he is advocating plant based enzymes. I have taken plant based enzymes before - not sure how effective they were. I have tried Omegazyme from Garden of Life. I may just have to go back to it.
I know there are some Muslims that are into natural health and healing at Curezone. I do not know exactly who they are. I wonder if they would know.
Let me know if you find anything out.

Garcia - (can't sleep either?!) Thanks for the link - I will probably have to get that one unless I can get a higher mg HCL per capsule.
Bevpirt - I have also taken plant based enzymes in the past and found them unsuitable for me (can't really explain why - they just don't agree with me!) I really do feel that it has to be HCL for me (sometimes you just know don't you).
I believe the HCL's that aren't poorcine are beet derived? - it's soo hard to tell on the net coz they don't list ingredients/sorces!

If you find a better HCL tablet please let me know. I too am loathe to eat pig (you are what you eat right?).

P.S. for digestive enzymes I recommend either Biocare's Polyzyme Forte, or Udo erasmus does one too. Both available from nutricentre and both vegetarian.

MoreThis is a reply to # 538,467I am little spacy after a sleepless Liver Flush night. I use the natural Factors Betaine Hydrochloride with fenugreek. It has 500 mg per cap. I was looking for the non-porcine source of pepsin, which I am not sure exists.
