I am fortunate to have been in a long marriage. I do believe a big reason for the lengthy (38 years) marriage is that we agreed early on in our younger days to communicate, especially about sex. I learned far more from her telling me what works for her and what did not than I would from a book or other guys. Opposite was true also. Even now (I'm 61) we do have an active sex life and communication about changes in our lives and bodies has helped a great deal.

Communication is definitely the key. Was for us at least.
