Hi Sweetie. I'm on day 4 and logging onto the forum is very inspiring, encouraging, supportive. The people on this forum are great!
Bless your heart--my sister has MS as well. She is doing fairly well, though. She takes the beta interferon shots. I have walked the MS Walk for years. This past September I did the MS Challenge Walk---50 miles!! I was scared I wouldn't be able to do it, but I did and raised over $3,000. So I figure if I can walk 50 miles, I can stick to a lemonade fast for 10 days!
I'm fairly healthy but have gained quite a bit of weight over the last 2 yrs.--hoping to drop 20-25
lbs. in the next couple of months--eloping to Vegas at the end of May, beginning of June. So even though I'm mostly doing this for the weightloss, after reading all these posts about how much healthier people are/feel after the fast, I'm psyched to clear my body, mind and spirit.
Good luck. You can do it. When you're feeling weak, log on and there's almost always someone to help you over the hump! (I'm on vacation so I'll be on here quite a bit, I think.)
