This is not my first fast. I did 2 5-day juice fasts, and a 16+ day MC, plus a short
Master-Cleanse a few weeks ago.
Hubby did the
Liver Flush with me, but is not fasting...
I am feeling great. My starting weight this time (after regaining some weight) was 230. At least 9
pounds of that was water weight (my sister and I both hold a LOT of water), and I lost that the first few days. I am now at 207.5, so I have lost 22.5 pounds, but again, a lot of that is water weight. I'm now at a point where I'm dropping 1/2 pound every 1-2 days. I'm glad that I'm burning fat! My clothes have dropped a full size in the 2 weeks, and I'm looking forward to seeing the final results on March 1st. I'll be doing another
Liver Flush then too; then moving on to mostly raw foods, and following the Fit For Life plan.
Congrats on your fast as well. For me, the hardest days were around days 4-6. Once I got to 10 it was easy to keep going. It's all a head game for me. Today I tried on a bunch of clothes that didn't fit before to get myself psyched up for the rest of the week.
I am planning to add an occasional green drink (juiced kale/cucumber/celery) to prevent a lack of nutrients, but will not eat any solids for the full 40 days.
I do use both the limes and lemons for variety, and am not too bored... this is much easier than juice fasting, because theirs so little work involved. And the food is inexpensive, and can be stored on the counter (fridge space is a valuable commodity!)
