Linda,
Thanks for asking. I'm definitely not an expert on liver flushing, but there are things you can do if a stone gets stuck. You would want to do a search on the
Liver Flush Forum and use the word "stuck". It's my understanding that the
Gallstones are made in your liver, so having your gallbladder out doesn't mean "no more gallstones."
As far as continuing the MC, my first one was 16 days, then I continued 2 more days, but added a few glasses of apple juice (fresh pressed green work best) each day for 2 days to help soften the stones. The
Liver Flush worked so well. I don't believe I have any calcified stones, as I haven't had any symptoms, so I wasn't worried about them getting stuck. But, I was surprised at how large some of the stones were! I think the apple juice is very important because soft stones would be much less likely to get stuck.
I seem to remember some posts about doing the
Liver Flush in the middle of an MC, but I personally have only done them at the end. And yes, you would benefit from continuing the
Master-Cleanse longer if you're able. You need to look at what's coming up and allow yourself a few days before any "regular food" to break the fast properly.
I hope I've been able to help with my limited experience. Please take time to read the liver flush information in the following link.
