Yes, I have heard some strange sounds that are based on the 'diatomic ratio' of some of the crop circles (there's a site with the sounds of cc's on them!). Verrrry interesting!
Yup, Saskatchewan gets a lot of crop circles. My crop circle friends arrived yesterday and brought me one of the corn stalks with 4 blown out nodes on it! I'm looking at it right now...I wonder what kind of energy it's emanating right now? Wild.
The corn stalk is about 3/4" wide at the bottom and, if straight, would be about 3' high. As it is now - it is rigidly & permanently bent at the 4 nodes so that it creates a beautiful arc...almost a half circle. The nodes have been expanded so much that the moisture was blown out of them and have left open cavities and stretch marks. Only super-ultra high 'heat' (or microwave activity) would create this effect. You know how you bend wood? You heat it to a high temp, bend it, then when it cools it stays bent. Much like what happens to the stalks within a crop circle. Only the moisture in the plant is heating ultra-rapidly and the moisture is forced out the 'nodes' of the stalk, it's bent (by some cool energy!) and when it cools...voila!...you've got an amazing pattern!
