Thanks for posting this. What a surprise to see this here. I only skimmed the first 6 pages as I don't have much interest in alchemy and ka (whatever ka is)..but I will say I don't agree with one of the author's final propositions that the ring symbolizes modern technology. That's been suggested before by many other author's and I can see the arguments but I think that's a gross simplification and that the ring stands for something much more fundamental about human nature of which the horrors of modern technology is only one consequence (think Saruman).
