Dear Smarty,
When doing liver flushes you need to combine them with colonic irrigation or colemas , and a kidney cleanse every 3-4 liver flushes (see my book The Amazing Liver & Gallbladder Flush,
http://www.ener-chi.com , for detailed directions). Taking acidophilus is not sufficient to remove trapped stones from your colon (stones get caught in the colon during nearly every liver flush). The signs of high toxidity (your symptoms) suggest that your colon isn't clean and absorbs toxins which in turn end up in the kidneys and liver. The dark circles under the eyes indicate that the blood cleansing/filtering ability of your liver and especailly the kidneys are heavily overtaxed. It is risky to do liver flushes without taking these precautions. I have seen many who ruined their health with liver flushing because they followed recipes that promised quick results, but ended up causing more havoc than relief. It is easy to release stones from the liver, but it should not be done without taking care. Toxicity in the colon and kidneys can make you very fatigued and suppress many functions in the body, which is most often called depression. The poor skin on the back of hands and the discoloration under eyes can clear up again once the above organs are clean and your diet supports and lifestyle these organs (also see Timeless Secrets of Health & Rejuvenation on eating accordiong to body type). Also, make sure to drink 6-8 glasses of water (not cold) per day to avoid further problems with the kidneys.
