In my book I recommend to take about 1500 mgs of malic acid with a few glasses of water per day for 6 days, but without any other product added. Magnesium citrate acts like Epsom salts, so I don't know how you can deal with that for 6 days. Apple cider vinegar may be another option (4-8 tablespoons 32 ounzes per day).
Yes, grapfruit can also soften stones.

Can you clarify how much apple cider vinegar? Is that 4-8 tablespoons at a time for 32 ounces a day?
How much grapefruit juice does it take to soften stones? Do you mean the juice not from concentrate sold in stores, and not the concentrate, or freshly made? How much grapefruits?
When you take these or the malic acid for 6 days before the flush, can you take a standard good diet with this? I am basically vegetarian, with some milk and eggs, not a lot of either though.
Can I take these things in general while eating what I think is a good diet for me, a couple of months in advance of a flush since I feel I might need it? Can you take this in general in your diet for a while without side effects?
