I am afraid that I would pass out if I didn't take my protein powder on flush day. I take an 8th of a cup of whey protein powder several times on flush day in lemon or vegetable juice, as often as I feel my energy sagging. I do my own vegetable juicing.
I would not recommend soy protein, it is not recommended by some nutritionists, it contains certain toxins which the body cannot handle. Rice protein is a good choice too in my opinion.
As well I drink water until 1 hour before flushing. I take 1 1/4 cup of oil by 3 tablesp. and 2 tablesp. of lemon juice every 15 minutes. I will be doing flush # 36 today and I have not been nausiated at all. By the way I am 67.
