Hello i was wondering if any one could help me please i fount out i was preg about a month ago so i had all blood work done and i went yesterday and was told i have hep c i was wondering if some one could tell me where to find info on this or if some one knows about this i am not on any treatment i just fount out yesterday. but the doc said it could not affect the baby
please help

Hey there. Yeah--there isn't much going on here! There is a great support group for Hep C and those on tx at the askemylis site. just search on ash emylis or it might be spelled emilyss..you'll find it.

drink LOTS of water, like a gallon a day-stay away from chemicals..hairspray, detergents, gas fumes etc. Try the cold cap tx like they do for cancer to try and lessen any potential hairloss. Just put a towel in the freezer and when you give yourself the peg have the towle on and leave in for an hour after. If you can afford to buy the real deal for the cold cap then go for it--otherwise try the above.
